Stancil's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church Leadership
Stancil's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.
Pastor
Dylan Price
Faithful Shepherd, Humble Servant, Teacher of the Word
Preacher Dylan was appointed to serve as the Senior Pastor of Stancil’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church on March 12, 2025, following his faithful service as a Deacon at Flood’s Chapel OFWB in Spring Hope, NC. His calling to lead Stancil’s Chapel was born out of prayer, conviction, and a deep desire to uphold the Word of God in a church family that values truth, compassion, and connection.
Known for his down-to-earth preaching style and welcoming spirit, Preacher Dylan brings clarity, warmth, and conviction to the pulpit. He takes worship and preaching seriously, beginning each day in focused Bible study and prayer. His messages are rooted in Scripture, aligned with the church’s Statement of Faith, and delivered with humility and boldness — always pointing hearts toward Christ.
In accordance with the biblical qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and the church’s bylaws, Preacher Dylan leads with integrity, spiritual discernment, and a servant’s heart. He works closely with the Deacon Board to shepherd the congregation, oversee teaching ministries, and ensure that all aspects of church life reflect the truth and love of Jesus.
Beyond the pulpit, Dylan is a devoted husband to his wife of five years, Rebecca (affectionately known as Bec). Together, they share their home with two beloved pets — a dog named Ivy and a cat named Apple — and enjoy the simple joys of family life and fellowship.
Preacher Dylan’s heart for ministry is matched by his love for people. He believes the church should be a place where everyone is welcomed, the gospel is proclaimed, and lives are transformed. Under his leadership, Stancil’s Chapel continues to grow as a Spirit-led community committed to worship, discipleship, and the mission of Christ.
